Hi! I am Diana Martinez, and welcome to my digital portfolio. I am from Geary, Oklahoma, and I’m a senior at Oklahoma State University – Stillwater.I will be graduating May 9, 2015 as a Strategic Communications major with a minor in Spanish.
Throughout my college career, I have been active on campus for the Hispanic Student Association, Student Government Association of Multicultural Affairs, Victoria Secret PINK street team and Advertising Club.
This past summer, I studied International Public Relations and Advertising at Regent’s University in London. During my time abroad,I experienced a new culture that was beyond amazing and life changing.
I am currently an intern for Stillwater’s KOSU NPR. Through my internship, I am gaining experience on how to write and edit in radio broadcasting style.
I am also currently working for residential housing as an apartment assistant for the Family and Graduate Housing at Oklahoma State University. As an apartment assistant, I write newsletters and manage different events for the residents in my neighborhood every month.
I am seeking a career in public relations, event planning, advertising, and radio broadcasting. I am a persistent, bilingual, motivated individual who gets the job done.
